Melbourne’s western suburbs are the nation’s fastest growing region – driven by affordable land prices, yet close proximity to the CBD. Standout suburbs include Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit, Wyndham Vale and Rockbank, with the areas having transformed into a bustling hub of both families and businesses.

Led by some of Australia’s fastest selling land estates such as Woodlea in Rockbank, the new developments will see the creation of numerous jobs and are booming with commercial property potential.

PwC’s CityPulse report is just one of many that supports the west’s potential, identifying  huge commercial warehouse opportunities set to create hundreds of jobs within the Tech, IT and labour-intensive roles. For this reason, suburbs such as Truganina and Tarneit have been recognised for their significant industrial potential.

Leading the west, in particular, is Werribee, having been identified by the State Government as a major commercial focus for Melbourne’s future growth. With proposed plans for a $30 billion-dollar investment in new high-rise dwellings and universities, the state-of-the-art mini city could be complete by 2050. In turn, this would see suburbs such as Truganina in prime position in-between central business districts.
